Dr. Scott Beeve offers several cosmetic enhancement services to reduce the visibility of crow’s feet and fine lines around your eyes that can make you look older than you are. Cosmetic services available at Beeve Vision Care Center include dermal fillers, Botox® injections, and blepharoplasty. Also available is the prescription  Latisse®, a daily topical treatment that creates longer, fuller eyelashes.

What are dermal fillers?

As you age, your face naturally loses elasticity and fullness as your body’s production of collagen decreases. Your skin develops wrinkles, fine lines on your face and crow’s feet around your eyes. Dr. Beeve offers injectable dermal fillers that restore volume to these areas, smoothing out wrinkles and fine lines and diminishing their appearance.

Available dermal fillers Dr. Beeve uses include Juvẻderm® treatments, which offer long-lasting and immediate results without the risks of surgery.

How does Botox differ from dermal fillers?

Botox works differently than dermal fillers like Juvẻderm. Botox is an injectable treatment that temporarily paralyzes the muscles responsible for crow’s feet and frown lines. The muscles relax, and your skin smooths out, lessening the appearance of moderate to severe lines and wrinkles.

Dr. Beeve offers Botox injections to treat cosmetic eye issues and may even recommend it as a remedy for frequent eyelid twitching.

Botox offers immediate results, which can last for several months.

What is blepharoplasty?

Sagging eyelids can make you look older than your natural age and interfere with your vision. Drooping eyelids can cause vision issues with both your central and peripheral vision when the skin hangs too low.

Blepharoplasty is a surgical treatment Dr. Beeve uses to improve the appearance and functionality of drooping eyelids. During the procedure, Dr. Beeve may remove excess skin, fat, and muscle to reduce the weight of the eyelids. He can also improve the appearance of undereye bags, making them less visible.

Not only does a blepharoplasty procedure improve your quality of vision, the treatment can take years off your appearance and make you look more alert.
