Burbank Lasik Surgery

Before Your Burbank Lasik Surgery

Normally for your consultation, you´ll visit with Dr. Scott Beeve before your burbank lasik surgery which will determine if you are a candidate for lasik vision correction. You will learn about the various lasik procedures to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism, what outcomes you can expect, the recovery process, risks and other considerations, and cost.

Prior to initiating the Burbank LASIK surgery for myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness), or astigmatism, you will need to undergo a series of preoperative tests in order to make certain that you get the most accurate correction and follow-up possible.

After Your Burbank Lasik Surgery

At this point, you are taken to a postoperative room and re-examined. Dr. Scott Beeve will then go over recommendations to ensure excellent results from your lasik surgery.

During the first 24-48 hours after the lasik surgery, most patients will experience a sensation in the eye and/or some discomfort. Characteristically, the patient will notice improved vision within 3-5 days or sooner following the lasik surgery. Treatment follow-up generally involves several visits to Dr. Beeve´s office. Vision may fluctuate over the next few weeks, and usually stabilizes within three months.
