Pasadena Cataract surgery is the removal of the lens inside the eye after it has become cloudy due to aging, an eye injury or other causes. When is Cataract Surgery Needed?

Signs and symptoms of problems caused by cataracts include:
- Your vision will become blurred
- Poor vision at night
- Colors will seem less bright and in some cases washed out
- Halo and Glares around the lights at night
- When your eyes become sensitive to light
- When you find yourself frequently changing your glasses prescription
- When you have to get a brighter light when reading to see the pages
- When you start to experience double vision
In many cases, losing your eyes vision due to cataracts usually occurs very gradually, you may not be fully aware of the extent of site slowly deteriorating and you are experiencing vision loss conditions, such as driving at night. A comprehensive eye exam often will reveal your eyes vision loss from the cataracts before a person knows they really have a problem.
Having routine eye checkups are extremely important after you turn 40 to keep the status of your eyes vision and to determine if cataracts are having an effect on your eye's vision problems.
